How it Started and How's it Going....?

My life is unrecognisable to myself!

I have worked in an office for 30 years - now I am balancing my laptop on my knee while eating cheese on toast on a Friday afternoon and trying to figure out how to make this blog fit into my website. The website itself took me an age to get together even though my 9 year old niece could have rattled one out in an hour for me. I just wanted to learn. Sometimes I have a wee doubt about the changes. And then every morning I wake up without an alarm clock and it reminds me how grateful I am for my life right now.

So - without boring you all. I decided in around August 2021 that I needed more out of life. I didn't know what I wanted but I wanted 'something'. I had a well paid corporate job and had just been promoted....to everyone else I had cracked it. But I just wanted 'something'.

Within the next couple of weeks things happened that changed my life

I listened to an audiobook where Bob Proctor (if you know, you know) talked about the importance of coaching...I am paraphrasing but he basically said that at least one point in everyone's life they need a coach....at least once.

About 2 days later I was on TikTok (don't judge) and someone I was following was talking about their podcast and the guest they had on it....a Life Coach.

Serendipity baby!

I listened to the podcast - contacted the coach being interviewed and here I am.

Now don't get me wrong.....it was a crazy winding road via journalling, making fridge magnets, greetings cards, paralysing grief, studying, practising, and ultimately reaching the conclusion that if I wanted to change my life, something had to change. It was demanding and challenging. At times I felt exhausted and confused.

BUT

It led me here; and here is exactly where I need to be right now. It is exciting and thrilling and I am buzzing to see where it goes.

Coaching is not about telling you what to do or advising and instructing - it is about letting you open your own self awareness. It is about guiding you to explore your life and your future without fear or judgement.

It is about getting you to exactly where you need to be.
